Come by air or come by road Listen to the overload We see space with different eyes You play your game, I'll play mine It's not giving up, it's breaking down As far as secrets go, the word is out Better to leave with bitter charm This is not the fire, this is the false alarm There is no need to regret Things that have not turned out yet Slowly travelling in time You go your way, I'll go mine It's not giving up, it's breaking down As far as secrets go, the word is out Better to leave with bitter charm This is not the fire, this is the false alarm All your failing, all your lies Is there no one on your side? All your failing, all your lies Is there no one on your side?
2.
At night we are alone You keep your lights on, that's your medicine Old dreams they come and go Gonna keep your lights on, that's your medicine And as we move in time You feel the world turn, I am just the same But more and more I find You fear the changes, I am not afraid I'm just trying to make it back home I'm not trying to follow you We are walking along the same road I'm not trying to follow you And I said all that I said only to give an answer At least for your own sake Don't bet your life on some new miracle Our hearts are changing shape Gonna bet your life on something physical And as we move in time You turn the sweetness into memory Now you can do what you like Cos we're not friends and we're not enemies I'm just trying to make it back home I'm not trying to follow you We are walking along the same road I'm not trying to follow you England has all gone away All away, I'm the sound Everything's all gone away But today, I'm the sound I am the sound I'm just trying to make it back home I'm not trying to follow you We are walking along the same road I'm not trying to follow you
3.
The Distance 03:54
In each and every instance When we move some distance To find the truth In what we thought we knew We spend our whole lives trying To stop ourselves from lying But what's the use When either way we lose I know I can make it I know I can make it That look you give me is frightening And why I bother trying To talk to you I haven't got a clue If feelings count for nothing I'll just keep on running I'll find the truth It's what we always knew I know I can make it I know I can make it Eyes on the horizon Eyes on the horizon I know I can make it I know I can make it
4.
Either we fight or we fall The answer's in your heart You have to ask you heart, your heart You have to ask your heart You never really listen You never really know All of us waste time, I know, I know I don't wanna waste no more You never even notice You never even show All of us are wrong sometimes, I know I don't wanna wait no more All your life An S.O.S., oh All your faded desires An S.O.S., oh Moments are lost in time Like tears in rain Either we fight or we fall The answer's in your heart You have to ask you heart, your heart You have to ask your heart I can only speak in sayings You can only speak in tongues The echo goes on and on and on and on Waiting for a change to come Now that the wind is blowing Blowing all our words away Here's a chance to start over again Everything will be erased All your life An S.O.S., oh All your faded desires An S.O.S., oh Moments are lost in time Like tears in rain Either we fight or we fall The answer's in your heart You have to ask you heart, your heart You have to ask your heart

about

Debut EP by My Tiger My Timing, originally released in 2009 on limited edition digipak CD by Pure Groove Records.

My Tiger My Timing was a five-piece synth pop band from New Cross in south-east London, formed in 2008 by Anna Vincent (vocals/synth), James Vincent (guitar/bass), Jamie Harrison (guitar/bass), Gary Drain (drums) and Seb Underhill (synth).

Having previously played in local indie/post-punk groups The Total Drop and The Roaring Twenties, the members combined forces to embrace a more pop-centric sensibility, taking their name from the title of a song by New York experimental musician Arthur Russell, whose melancholic, heartfelt approach to electronic music was one on their early influences.

The band's debut singles This Is Not the Fire and I Am the Sound were produced by Andy Spence of New Young Pony Club and released in 2009 as part of the I Am the Sound EP, alongside two B-sides produced by Hot Chip's Joe Goddard. The tracks featured on several compilations, including Kitsuné Maison Compilation 8 and Modular's 'Leave Them All Behind III' and the band also contributed a cover of Arm Around You to A Tribute to Arthur Russell which came on the Electric Minds label that year.

Following tours in the UK and Europe, and a run of festival appearances, including a slot on the John Peel Stage at Glastonbury Festival in 2011, the band released third single Endless Summer through their own Snakes & Ladders label. The track was playlisted by BBC 6 Music and XFM and paved the way for a new, more live-influenced sound, with the band taking on production duties in the studio.

In November 2011, they released a fourth single, Written in Red with The Gold Rush following in June 2012 ahead of the release of debut album Celeste in July 2012. Final single Let Me Go was released in November 2012 and was named Single of the Week on BBC 6 Music.

The band is on indefinite hiatus as of 2014. Anna Vincent and James Vincent went on to form dream-rock band Heavy Heart and Gary Drain, Jamie Harrison, and Seb Underhill now perform as Glowing Sun.
